CGE Solutions Appoints Curtis O'Neal as Director of Quality Assurance and Training
Ashburn, VA, April  05, 2010 – CGE Solutions today announced that Curtis O'Neal has been appointed the company Director of Quality Assurance and Training.

Curtis will assume the responsibility for Quality Assurance and Training programs. As the current VP of Operations, Curtis has overseen the daily operations of CGE.  Curtis will still remain the VP of Operations in an oversight role.

 A representative for CGE stated "We are pleased that Curtis has moved into the new position; with his experience in oversight, training and company operations, he will bring the organization into a new dimension as we continue to grow."

Curtis has over 10 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, with more than 15 years of experience in business management, and 5 years as an instructor. Curtis is a Certified HERS Rater and a Certified HERS QAD and Trainer.

"I am excited for this lateral move, and to be working directly in the quality assurance and training areas of the company. It is great working with an exceptional group of people," Curtis said. "I enjoy the challenges of teaching and imparting our knowledge to others. Each day is something different."

CGE SOLUTIONS INC. IS RECOGNIZED WITH A 2010 ENERGY STAR® LEADERSHIP IN HOUSING AWARD
CGE Solutions earns award for verifying new homes that protect the environment through energy efficiency

Ashburn, Va., 5/28/10 - CGE Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by the u.s. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with a 2008 ENERGY STAR Leadership in Housing Award. This award recognizes the important contribution that our organization has made to energy-efficient construction and environmental protection by verifying more than 1,000 ENERGY STAR qualified homes last year. Collectively, these homes will save our customers approximately $759,900 on utility bills each year.

The environmental benefits of these ENERGY STAR qualified homes are the equivalent of:

Homes that earn the ENERGY STAR meet strict guidelines for energy efficiency set by EPA. ENERGY STAR qualified homes are at least 15 percent more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC), and include additional energy-saving features that typically make them 20-30% more efficient than standard homes. ENERGY STAR qualified homes can include a variety of energy-efficient features, such as effective insulation, high performance windows, tight construction and ducts, efficient heating and cooling equipment, and ENERGY STAR qualified lighting and appliances.

ENERGY STAR is growing strong in the residential new construction market. In 2007, over 120,000 new homes were constructed to meet ENERGY STAR guidelines, bringing the total number of ENERGY STAR qualified homes to almost 840,000. Owners of these homes are saving more than $200 million annually on their utility bills.
